Treating where you see them is why it comes back

Fleas travel indoors on pets and wildlife and settle into carpet, bedding, subfloors and soft furnishings. The adults you notice are a small fraction of the population — the rest of the life cycle is in the fibres, the soil and the shade. We treat the areas where that life cycle continues rather than only where you see them, which is the difference between a treatment that holds and one that looks like it worked for a fortnight.

  • Carpet, rugs, bedding and soft furnishings
  • Subfloors, roof voids and under-house spaces
  • Shaded garden beds and the areas pets rest in
  • Interior treatment plus exterior perimeter treatment
  • Family- and pet-safe products, applied by licensed technicians
  • Advice to help prevent reinfestation once the treatment is down

End-of-lease flea treatments

Flea treatment is the standard requirement when a rental with pets is handed back. We work around the vacate date and provide documentation for the agent once the treatment is done — bookable by the tenant, the landlord or the agent.

How the treatment runs

  1. 1

    Tell us where they are

Call or send the form with your suburb, whether there are pets in the property, and where you are seeing activity. Same-day and next-day bookings are available and the team operates 24 hours a day.

  2. 2

    We prepare and treat

We will tell you what to do before we arrive — usually vacuuming and washing pet bedding, which lifts the treatment's effectiveness considerably. Then we treat interior areas, the exterior perimeter, and the subfloor and garden areas where the cycle continues.

  3. 3

We tell you what to expect

Some activity after treatment is normal as remaining eggs hatch into the treated area. We explain the timeline plainly on the day so you know what is working and what is not.

So far I am very happy with the service. Every time I have called, the staff have been very polite, helpful and informative. If the actual pest control is as good as the ladies on the phone I will be very happy 🙂

Do I need to do anything before you arrive?

Usually yes, and it makes a real difference. We will ask you to vacuum thoroughly and wash pet bedding before the treatment, because that removes a large share of the eggs and larvae and lets the treatment reach the fibres where the rest of the cycle sits. We will give you the specific list when you book.

Is the treatment safe for my pets?

Our treatments are family- and pet-safe. We will tell you on the day whether there is a short stand-down before pets return to the treated areas, and where they should be kept in the meantime.

Why am I still seeing fleas after the treatment?

Some activity in the days after a treatment is normal and expected — eggs already in the carpet and soil continue to hatch into the treated area, which is exactly how the treatment reaches them. We explain the timeline on the day so you know what normal looks like. If activity is still building well beyond that window, call us on 02 4217 0117.

Do you treat ticks as well?

Yes, and ticks now have their own page because they are a different job — same process and price, different product, and the work is mostly in the yard rather than indoors. See tick treatment for the detail. If you have both, tell us when you book and we will cover both in the one visit.

Can you treat my pet for fleas?

No — treating the animal itself is a job for your vet, and you should speak to them about the right product for your pet. We treat the property: the carpet, bedding, subfloors and garden beds where the population actually lives. The two together are what resolves it.
