What the treatment actually involves

It is genuinely hard to tell from bites alone, which is why we confirm on site before treating. The useful distinction: if there are pets in the house, fleas are more likely, and flea bites tend to be around the ankles and lower legs. Bed bug signs are located at the bed — dark spotting on the mattress seam, shed skins along the frame, bites on skin exposed overnight.
Should I throw out the mattress?
Not before we have looked at it, and please do not move it to another room. Moving infested items is the main way bed bugs spread into rooms that were clean, and it can turn a one-room problem into a whole-house one. Leave things where they are and we will advise you on the day.
Does it mean my house is dirty?

How long does treatment take and how many visits?
